Why use LED lights?

What's the advantage?

LED (Light Emitting Diode) is the latest in lighting technology and is considered the light source of the future. There are good solid reasons for this. The technology is impacting our day-to-day life all around the world. LED lighting is the most effective all lighting technologies available right now.

LED technology is now being deployed in many different applications. In the automotive world, the 4x4 off-road racing fraternity were the first to embrace this technology. The incredible durability and sturdiness, combined with the superior lighting quality made it a logical choice for them.

Now, we find LED technology everywhere, in houses, in offices, street lighting, parking lots, industrial machinery, farm equipment, lighting in nurseries and glass houses, etc etc.

Each and every industry sector is using them in one form or another.

What makes LED stand out is it's incredibly low power consumption, versus their high efficient light output and low heat.
