Why use LED lights?
What's the advantage?
LED (Light Emitting Diode) is the latest in lighting technology and is considered
the light source of the future. There are good solid reasons for this. The technology
is impacting our day-
LED technology is now being deployed in many different applications. In the automotive
world, the 4x4 off-
Now, we find LED technology everywhere, in houses, in offices, street lighting, parking lots, industrial machinery, farm equipment, lighting in nurseries and glass houses, etc etc.
Each and every industry sector is using them in one form or another.
What makes LED stand out is it's incredibly low power consumption, versus their high efficient light output and low heat.
In summary:
= LED lights require only a fraction of the power used by normal Halogen, or HID lights
= LED is extremely sturdy, and can handle shock and vibration much better -
= LED is extremely compact, allowing these units to be used in many different environments
= LED's last at least 250x longer than Halogen, and at least 20x longer than HID lights
= LED's require very little power compared to other light sources.
